A word from Scott

As the Co-founder and Director it gives me great pleasure to introduce myself and the Property Minders team.

I have a strong respect for the property sector and throughout my 20 years of working within the industry, I have made it my personal business to remain current and have welcomed many leadership roles.

My experience as a Certified Practising Valuer has served me well when determining the ‘right property’ for a client. We regularly save or make thousands and tens of thousands of dollars for our clients through the way we look after and manage their properties. Over the years I have witnessed many poor managers and heard many stories about poor management experiences, we are there to mitigate risk for and on behalf of all of our valued clients.
I value each and every client’s association with Property Minders and will make it my business to ensure you always... your peace of mind is our priority.

Introducing Jan

Jan joined Property Minders at the end of 2009 in its very infancy, with a mandate to introduce systems and procedures to drive a thoroughly professional and responsive property management business. She was keen to join a team who valued the concept of customer service, who really understood the property investor’s needs and were truly committed to delivering on their promises. It was an opportunity to take a stake in the business and commit to its long term growth and prosperity.

Jan has worked in many areas of real estate over the past ten years or so – from executive relocations, to sales, property management (sitting in everyone’s chair at some stage – receptionist, property manager to department manager) and recently consulting and training for Property Management departments.

Prior to her career in real estate, Jan travelled and worked in other commercial organisations. While Brisbane is definitely home now, she has lived interstate and overseas – bringing up a family on the move. They are largely independent now which allows more time to devote to this specialist business. Her other interests include golf and music, a willing participant in either at any time!

Introducing Rachael

Rachael joined Property Minders in June 2011. In her first 3 months with Property Minders, she found that the boutique agency with high customer service focus was more aligned with her own work ethic. Her 18 months’ experience at other real estate agencies gave her a good basis to work from, but the rigor of applying systematic procedures and the focus on both client and customer service has enabled her to continue the Property Minders model. Rachael’s passion for property shines through her friendly approach and dedication to excellence.

Prior to working in Real Estate, Rachael worked as a receptionist and a PA at two of Australia’s largest equipment hire/diesel companies. Her strong customer service focus enables her to deliver the highest level of commitment to your investment and a strong rapport with all her clients.

Introducing Lina

Lina joined Property Minders mid way through 2010. She had already spent six months in another Real Estate Agency as a home finder but was looking to find a niche more attuned with her passion and high attention to detail. Working in a boutique agency with high standards and service profile appealed to Lina’s own level of commitment. She enjoys looking after our tenants, conducting some of the property inspections, matching people’s needs and expectations with our properties and keeping the office ticking over well.

Prior to her career in Real Estate, Lina worked in retail managing various departments with a strong customer service focus. This experience combines well with her passion for property and people.
